Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Is Self-Representation a law firm?
No. Self-Representation is not a law firm and does not provide regulated legal advice. It is a preparation and organisation tool for Employment Tribunal matters.
Can you tell me whether I will win my case?
No. We cannot predict outcomes or advise you on the merits of your claim. The product helps you organise information, understand the process and prepare more clearly.
Can I use this without a solicitor?
Yes. The product is designed for self-represented users. A solicitor can still be useful in complex cases, but many people need help organising their own case preparation.
What does the £60 per month include?
The monthly plan includes access to the case workspace, timeline tools, evidence vault, deadline tracking, preparation features and source-backed assistant tools.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The standard plan includes a 28 day free trial. After that, the plan is £60 per month unless cancelled.
Do you offer business or organisation pricing?
Yes. Businesses, advisers, charities, support groups and organisations can request custom pricing for multiple users, teams or higher case volumes.
Can the product help with ACAS Early Conciliation?
Yes. It can help you record ACAS details, certificate dates, correspondence and related deadlines, but you remain responsible for checking the dates and taking action.
Can it help with ET1 or ET3 forms?
It can help structure the information you may need and explain what the forms generally ask for. It does not submit forms for you or tell you what legal arguments to make.
Can I upload evidence?
The product is designed around evidence organisation. You can keep track of documents, descriptions, relevance notes, timeline links and review status.
Will you contact my employer or the tribunal for me?
No. We do not contact employers, ACAS, solicitors or the tribunal on your behalf. The product helps you organise and prepare your own information.
